Clean Coast Texas has resources for Stormwater Management
Clean Coast Texas, a program through the Texas General Land Office, can help communities along the Texas Coast protect water quality. Community resources are available for homeowners, businesses, and informed citizens or residents. Technical resources are also available for engineers, decision makers, and city or elected officials.

Homeowners Handbook for Coastal Weather
Available on the website of the Texas Sea Grant Program at Texas A&M University, the Homeowner’s Handbook to Prepare for Coastal Natural Hazards describes ways to build or retrofit a home to make it more resistant to wind and rain, including sections on roof stability, keeping water out and power issues. It was produced through a partnership between Texas Sea Grant and the nonprofit Gulf of Mexico Alliance. The handbook is also available in Spanish.
